Diagonal Front Cards

 I just wanted to show the cards I made the other day using one 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock and under half of a full sheet of DSP!! Super fun and super cute. Easy too! Details of items used are at the bottom of this post. Hint though - the DSP paper is on clearance!!

For starters, I scored/folded my soft succulent cardstock in the middle both vertically and horizontally and then cut it from the left top corner to the bottom right corner. This gives you two card bases.

Then I took TWO pieces of  (coordinating patterns) 4" x 5 1/4" of DSP and had the side I am using on top. Cut from top left corner to bottom right corner on both sheets. It's very important to cut same direction on both patterns. Now you have the two pieces needed for each card.

Cut about an 1/8" off all three sides of all the triangles and then glue down on the front triangle sections of the card base. 

Inside, glue a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of cardstock and stamp if desired. Embellish the fronts as desired. I took the Evening Evergreen cardstock and cut a piece about 3" by 2" and then a piece of white cardstock about a 1/4" shorter both ways, and stamped on it. Colored my flower and added some little pearly jewels to it too. Easy peasy!
